Following extensive consultation with Scottish Golf and The Health & Safety Executive, the club have implemented a one metre social distancing zone throughout the clubhouse with the use of mitigating features such as: automatic hand sanitisers, screens between seating, marked walkways, reduced capacity, no background noise, table service and a one-way system for exiting and entering the building.
Face coverings must be worn at all times in the building other than when you are seated.
The top lounge, lower lounge, dining room and members bar will all be available for use, albeit at reduced capacity. Please note that there will be a maximum of two households and six people at one table but most tables have been set up to accommodate 4 people only. Social distancing of at least one metre between those at a table (from different households) must be adhered to which restricts the availability of tables to parties exceeding 4. Members from the same household are not required to socially distance at a table. It would be helpful if the staff were advised of the circumstances at the time of the booking to allow the appropriate layout to be made, where possible.
A snack menu will be available, consisting of soup, toasties and hot and cold filled rolls.
A ‘Clubhouse’ menu with a selection of starters, main courses and desserts will be available from 4pm on Friday 17 July 2020 and it is recommended that members book in advance for this menu.
All members must enter the building via the main entrance to the north side of the building (facing the course and new clubhouse construction site) and exit via the door in the lower lounge.
All those intending to use the clubhouse must wait at the designated area to be seated by a member of staff. This applies irrespective of the area you intend to sit in. If there is a queue please be patient and observe social distancing guidelines.
All members and guests must provide staff with their name and contact details prior to being seated. These will be retained for a minimum of 21 days. This is a condition of the club being able to re-open the clubhouse and exists for track and trace purposes.
Staff will obtain orders from each table and deliver drinks and food on a tray. A Perspex screen is in place at the Members bar and orders can be made by approaching at this side of the bar. It is imperative that only one person approaches the bar at a time and a designated service area has been marked on the floor. The lounge side of the bar must be kept clear at all times and members and guests should not approach this bar for service.
Card payments are preferable but cash can also be accepted when hands are sanitised before and after handling cash.
Staff have been trained in how to serve whilst adhering to social distancing guidelines and will be wearing face masks and gloves for your safety.
Hand sanitisers have been placed at points of entry and exit to the building and at the Ladies and Gents toilets. Please use them when entering and exiting the building and after using the toilet facilities.
Please do not enter the clubhouse if you are displaying any COVID related symptoms or have been in contact with an infected person within the last 15 days.
It is not essential to book for drinks only but those who do not are at risk of not being able to obtain the use of a table. Without a table the club are unable to serve members and guests. No standing at any bar is permitted other than for being served within the designated area of the Members bar. The members bar is for the use of Ladies, Gents and guests.
The club has deferred the SKY television subscription and has implemented a policy having the television in the top lounge switched off. The club are also unable to play any type of background music. This is a mitigating factor to ensure everyone’s safety while using the facilities and is especially important in the Members bar where the ventilation is not as good as in other areas of the clubhouse.

Wednesday: 11am – 8pm (Snack menu 11am-3pm, cold filled rolls available thereafter)
Thursday: 11am – 9pm (Snack menu 11am-3pm and Clubhouse menu 5pm-8pm)
Friday: 11am – 10pm (Snack menu 11am-3pm and Clubhouse menu 11am-2.30pm & 5pm-8.30pm)
Saturday: 11am – 10pm (Snack menu 11am-3.30pm and Clubhouse menu 11am-8.30pm)
Sunday: 11am – 8pm (Snack menu 11am-3.30pm and Clubhouse menu 11am-6.30pm)

Please note that there will be no access permitted to the clubhouse prior to the above stated opening hours and the premises must be vacated by no later than 30 minutes following the closure of the bar.
The hours will be reviewed at the introduction of phase 4 if demand is evident. Equally it may be necessary to reduce the opening hours if there is an apparent lack of demand.
Please ensure you follow and adhere to the guidelines at all times whilst using the clubhouse as a refusal of service will follow to the breaking of any of the implemented restrictions/guidelines. These exist to ensure the safety of all members, guests and staff.
